OFRIS - Deep Freeze For Linux

OFRIS - Deep Freeze For Linux - Made in Indonesia


 Ofris is an application (or rather the script) by Muhammad Faruq Nuruddinsyah which serves to lock the system (freeze). Or in other words Ofris like Deep Freeze is an application that runs on Linux. Ofris cafe is very beneficial to employers or managers of the school and campus lab that uses the Linux operating system.



Applications made by children in Indonesia is running at the terminal. We can lock the system so that changes can we return to restart the system. The original name of this application is Dafturn Ofris Erdana, but I quickly became Ofris in PPA for easy manufacture of the run.

install:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: tldm217/tahutek.net

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ofris


usage

To use Ofris, simply type "ofris" (without the quotes) in Terminal, it will display options like the picture above. Type the appropriate number and press "Enter".
Note: Ofris can only be run by a user who has the right to "Administer the System". To give this right to the user can be done in the following manner:

1.  Login to the User Administrator 

2.  Open the menu: 'System'> 'Administration'> 'Users and Groups'
3.  In the User Settings window, click the 'Unlock' and enter the Administrator User password
4.  Select the User you want, and click the 'Properties'
5.  Then click the tab 'User Privileges' and gave a check in the "Administer the system'
6.  Press the 'OK' and close the User Settings
